Read the map as a work plan
This is a guide to the in-game map, not an interactive replica or a verified atlas of every object. Start by finding your current position, the next reachable cleaning area and the destination where you can unload. That combination is more useful than selecting the most distant dirty sector.
A sector’s displayed progress helps you decide where to work, but it does not tell you whether a vehicle can reach every remaining patch. Inspect the terrain on arrival. Use map filters to reduce icon clutter before concluding that a robot is missing.
| Information | Use it for | Follow-up |
|---|---|---|
| Player position and destination | Planning a return route | Set a waypoint before leaving your delivery area. |
| Sector progress | Choosing unfinished work | Check reachable dust on the ground. |
| Robot type filter | Finding the unit you need | Hide unrelated types during diagnosis. |
| Robot activity filter | Locating idle units | Inspect its bin and receiving network. |
| Discovered teleport stations | Selecting a known travel destination | Choose a listed station rather than assuming every map point is available. |
Set up a route before crossing the map
Find a useful next area
Choose unfinished ground with a practical route back to your current unloading point. Consider vehicle access and the work you can finish with your present tool instead of treating percentage alone as a measure of difficulty.
Open the context menu
The v1.0.4 update adds right-click map actions for waypoints, focusing and teleporting. Select the action offered for your target. On a controller or changed binding, follow the current interface prompts rather than assuming the keyboard gesture applies.
Use a waypoint for navigation
Mark the work area or return destination and check your position against it while travelling. A waypoint is a navigation aid; creating one does not itself unlock a teleport station.
Confirm the return option
The teleport selection panel shows stations you have discovered. Check that your intended destination is present before relying on it. If not, plan a normal route and discover the station in the world.
A sector at 99.9% is not the same as 0%
The patch notes describe specific bugs. They do not mean every 99.9% sector is a display error or that every empty-looking sector is finished. Check the version, visible terrain and robot access in that order. Avoid spending time searching for a fictional hidden collectible just because a progress value has not changed.

Moon-wide progress and a nearby sector describe different scales. This overview is not a coordinate map or a marker-location guide.
Official screenshot · DragDrop Games / Steam ↗| What the map shows | Documented context | Suggested next step |
|---|---|---|
| 99.9% after distant automated cleaning | v1.0.5 fixes a case where finished hexes were not marked complete at distance. | Confirm the fix is installed; visit the sector and inspect any remaining ground. |
| 0% on an empty sector after loading | v1.0.5 fixes empty sectors incorrectly appearing dirty on world load. | Check the installed version and compare the display with the actual ground. |
| A previously unexplored or unmeasured sector | v1.0.5 stops showing unmeasured areas as 0%. | Establish what the map has actually measured before calling it fully dirty. |
| A small visible patch remains | The display fixes do not remove every possible leftover patch. | Approach safely and clean the reachable material before checking again. |
Use robot filters to investigate unfinished work
Filter by robot type, then activity, to locate the relevant J.O.O.N.A.S. unit. The v1.0.4 changes make it clean one hex at a time from outside inward and skip unreachable positions. An idle unit beside a partly finished area can therefore require an access or receiving check.
After locating it, inspect the bin gauge and catchers. A map icon identifies where to investigate; it cannot prove that the outgoing conveyor or sale intake is working. Use the dedicated robot guide for the catcher grouping rules instead of rebuilding the whole network from the map alone.
Record enough information to reproduce a map problem
Capture the context
Include the game version, whether this is the host’s world and whether you just loaded it. Identify the sector using a map screenshot that shows surrounding landmarks, without exposing private account information.
Compare map and ground
Record the displayed percentage and what is actually visible in that area. Note whether cleaning was manual or automated and whether anyone was nearby when it appeared to finish.
Separate navigation from progress
For a missing teleport destination, report whether the station was discovered and whether it appears in the panel. For a percentage fault, report sector progress. These are different symptoms and need different evidence.
Questions & answers
Is this an interactive Moon Sweepers map?
No. This page explains the map inside the game. It does not claim a complete set of coordinates or an interactive world atlas.
Can I teleport to any point I mark?
Do not assume so. The documented teleport panel lists discovered stations; a waypoint by itself is not a confirmed teleport unlock.
Why is a clean sector stuck at 99.9%?
v1.0.5 fixes a distant-completion case, but remaining reachable dust is another possibility. Check the version and ground before deciding it is a display bug.
